Focus is thrilled to announce that our team is growing, and it’s with a name you’re all already familiar with – Trent Aldrich. My son has started a two-month long internship with us as he transitions out of the Army. He’ll be around the office helping with an assortment of tasks and training on all of the systems and software around the office; and you’ll also likely see him sitting in on meetings you have scheduled with me.

About Trent

Trent grew up in Roscoe and attended Hononegah High School where he was active in several organizations such as Model U.N as well as winning the conference as a freshman wrestler and playing 4 years of football as an offensive Tackle. In 2018 he began college at the University of Alabama where he completed his Bachelor’s in 2022, majoring in Finance and minoring in Personal Wealth Management and Mathematics. The same year he also completed his Master of Science in Finance at Alabama – he was able to take master’s classes concurrently with his undergrad through their accelerated Master’s Program. While on campus he was active in the Army ROTC program as well as a brother of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity where he was elected Secretary and Vice President of the chapter.After graduating he was commissioned into the US Army as an Engineering Officer, completing Basic Officer Leader Course and Sapper Leader Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri before being stationed in Grafenwoehr, Germany from 2023 until now. While there he spent time assisting other soldiers with financial education and personal budgeting, which inspired him to pursue wealth management. This pushed him to study for and pass the CFP® exam, and to apply for an internship at Focus. While here he will be tackling the experience requirement to complete his CFP® certification and start the process of grasping all that we do here at Focus.

While living in Europe, Trent thoroughly enjoyed traveling to a plethora of different countries and enjoying their cultures. Some of the hobbies he picked up there include skiing the Alps, enjoying the Sauna, reading non-fiction books, and running (he ran a marathon in Estonia). He does all of these with his Fiancé, Brooke, who he will be marrying in October when he is back in Germany to complete his out-processing from the military. 

Trent intends to join Focus full-time in November as an Advisor and looks forward to giving his dad some much-appreciated assistance in the years that follow. We anticipate he will provide a fresh look at how things are done and have plenty of ideas of how to improve what we do here.
